Marco Island extends about three quarters of a mile out into the Gulf of Mexico, giving it unusually warm weather with very little rain. Based on personal experience over a two year period, rain seems frequently to bypass Marco.  It is not unusual to have a rain storm just north in Naples and still have sunny skies on Marco. The temperature typically runs a few degrees warmer on Marco that in Naples.  You can click the weather link below to see the current conditions but remember that you are looking at data for Naples.  Marco Island is about 18 miles south of Naples.
